The preschool programs at our local and family-owned and operated centers are geared for children 3 years to 5 years old. We follow the Creative Curriculum and the Illinois Early Learning Standards - both have been researched and are used by the local school district to ensure kindergarten readiness.
Creative Curriculum is a research based educational system that is used to foster and develop each child as an individual throughout their learning and development. It is designed to mirror the Illinois Early Learning Standards and focuses on 38 learning development objectives that are predictive of future school success.
Your child will be involved in math, science, language arts, physical development, and social or emotional development activities all while exploring the variety of interest centers in the classroom.
Your child will have a hands-on approach to learning in dramatic play, discovery, library, art, music and movement, blocks, and sensory areas. Each child’s learning will be based on their individual learning styles.
